The Model 7821 2-Channel HD/SD H.265 Video Encoder is the rack-mount version of Delta Digital Video’s Model 7820R rugged unit. The Model 7821 offers easy integration into commercial and industrial video distribution applications or benign intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) environments. The Model 7821 uses the H.265/HEVC video compression algorithm to compress video at resolutions up to 1080p60 for real-time transmission. The H.265 encoding algorithm delivers improved video performance over existing networks compared to its H.264 predecessor, and is especially ideal for those networks with constrained bandwidth. The Model 7821 is compliant with video-over-IP protocols and meets the requirements of the MISB/STANAG profiles, ensuring interoperability for ISR missions.
